Good news about VAT application on business charges in Venice

EPIA has renovated its ROI registry. What this means to our EPIA members is that:

EPIA invoices to non-Spanish resident companies will not bear VAT on goods and services;
Invoices to the EPIA coming from non-Spanish resident EU companies will not bear VAT on goods and services; and
Non-Italian EU based members will be able to receive and pay their convention related invoices for goods and services without the VAT applied

Therefore, those non-Italian EU members that have reserved hotel rooms in Venice for the convention should be sure that the reservation is to be invoiced to your company, not to your personal account. By doing this, non-Italian EU based members will be able to receive and pay the invoice without the VAT applied.

HOW TO GET THERE?

To Treviso Antonio Canova Airport – 40km from Venice – with Ryanair or Wizz Air: lots of destinations then shuttle to Shuttle ATVO to Venise 10€ – 50mn to Piazzale Roma then vaporetto to San Marco or Bus N°5 from ACTV 8€ to Piazzale Roma or to Treviso bus to train station line 40 or by train “Santa Lucia Train Station” on Piazza Roma,

Companies: Ryanair or Wizz Air: lots of destinations

To Venice Marco Polo Airport – 10km to Venice train Station, by shuttle bus to “Santa Lucia Train Station” on Piazza Roma, then with vaporetto in from of the train station Line 1 – 40mn or Line 2 faster!

From the train station, you can walk – 40mn – over the bridges, follow the yellow signs on the walls!

Taxi Boat: 110€ – 30mn trip

On the vaporetto, remember to compost your ticket! Stop for the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal: San Marco – left of the stop – entrance on the side street

Only one price – to buy in the train station or outside on Piazzale Roma or next to the stop with credit card – One way ticket = 8€

Team Building on Tuesday night

This event is going to develop in 3 phases:

Phase 1 – Group 1 will go on a Gondola Tour departure next to the hotel on the Grand Canal!

Phase 2 – Group 2 will participate to the Creation of a venetian mask you will use du ring the gala dinner.

For these two activities, you will be escorted by young ladies from Shantaran Agency.

Phase 3 – Group 1 & 2 will go on Bacari Crawl to taste the traditional Italian Tapas and “Cicchetti” in different venetian bars and taste local wine.

After these “Team Building” activities you will be left on your own to join your friends, colleagues or partners for a free evening!
